The Erasmus + co-funded project’s INNO-TEC-LAB, “Development of opportunities in the field of design for technical careers through innovation-laboratories” (nr. 2020-1-IT02-KA203-079775) is creating the 2nd session of INNO-TEC-LAB Train-the-Trainers, a structured online training for teachers.

This INNO-TEC-LAB Train-the-Trainers prepares its learners, in this case teachers, trainers and researchers, for the continuing change in the field of education. Through an online platform and a connected cross-cultural laboratory set-up by the project’s partners located in the Netherlands, Italy, France, Finland, Lithuania and Poland, this training aims to enrich and upscale the knowledge, competencies and skills of teachers, trainers and researchers that want to innovate their own teaching practice.

The learners will meet for 4 live sessions:

  1. INTRODUCTION // 13 DEC 4.30-6pm CET

  2. CIRCULAR COACHING // 10 JAN 3-5PM CET

  3. NEW TECHNOLOGIES: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES WITHIN EDUCATION // 17 JAN 3-5PM CET

  4. INNOVATION AND 21ST CENTURY SKILLS - 24 JAN 3-5PM CET

Participants will also get involved in a project work's development. Self-study and assignments' achievement will be required to participants. 

The Train-the-Trainers' course will be available on a free online platform. Selected participants will be registered on the platform to access the training.

Erasmus + co-funded project’s INNO-TEC-LAB, “Development of opportunities in the field of design for technical careers through innovation-laboratories” (nr. 2020-1-IT02-KA203-079775) is creating the INNO-TEC-LAB Train-the-Trainers - a structured online training for teachers.

The INNO-TEC-LAB Train-the-Trainers main goal is to strengthen the capacity of teachers, and in turn that of their relevant institutions, to respond to and anticipate the changing in educational and working environment as specifically related to the technical careers, in accordance with sustainability and context-specific environments.

One of the strengths that the training offers is innovative learning and teaching methodologies for teachers.

One of the questions was how HEIs themselves define a technical career within their institutions.

As part of the Erasmus + co-funded project INNO-TEC-LAB, “Development of opportunities in the field of design for technical careers through innovation-laboratories” (nr. 2020-1-IT02-KA203-079775) created a learning module, that is aiming to serve as a basis for the courses that the trainers will attend and will implement, and to set out the general guidelines on the acquisitions of new knowledge and practical experience through a pedagogical approach.

The learning module defines a number of subjects critical to the project, couple of them being innovation and interdisciplinarity.
